Just weeks before reports emerged that Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley had allegedly called it quits, the Grammy-winning producer was on live TV talking about how much he loved married life. Safe to say, the interview has aged… awkwardly. According to People, Antonoff and Qualley have now separated after almost three years of marriage. A source told the publication the relationship is currently “rocky”, although neither Antonoff nor Qualley has publicly commented on the reports. Andrew H. Things got a bit uncomfortable after co-host Craig Melvin asked whether Antonoff had plans to attend “any big weddings”, a question widely interpreted as a nod to the persistent rumours surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. That’s when Antonoff offered a rare glimpse into his own relationship, saying: “Yeah, I hope so, man. I’ve been, yeah, I’m, I love being married, man.” Now, following reports that he and Qualley have allegedly split, the clip has started making the rounds online again. Antonoff and Qualley were first linked in August 2021 before announcing their engagement less than a year later, in May 2022. They married in August 2023. Earlier this year, their relationship found itself back in the headlines after Dunham published her memoir, Famesick, which revisited their time together and reflected on the long-running rumours that Antonoff had been romantically involved with Lorde while they were making Melodrama. Although those rumours have circulated for years, both Antonoff and Lorde have consistently denied they were ever anything more than friends and collaborators.
