Twitter is filled with bizarre rumours that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are getting a divorce, so here’s what both of them have said about their relationship and each other. The couple have been married since 2012 and share four children: James, Inez, Betty and Olin. They’ve usually kept their family life quite private, but that hasn’t stopped people from making guesses about their relationship. The rumours have been going viral after Blake’s legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. According to International Business Times, Ryan was in New York while Blake was in Los Angeles. The report also claimed that the legal battle had put pressure on their marriage. There were also claims from Rob Shuter’s Naught But Nice newsletter that Ryan was unhappy with how much attention the legal dispute was getting. One anonymous source quoted in the report claimed, “It wasn’t about winning anymore, it was about proving she was right.” The same report suggested that Blake eventually realised how much the situation was affecting her personal life. The actor was asked about how his family had managed amid Blake’s legal battle. He said, “You really see kind of the illusion behind so much of this stuff, you know? Digital life versus real life.” He added, “Really, without getting into too much, I have never in my life been more proud of my wife. People have no idea what’s really going on, you know? And I’ve just never in my life been more proud of someone with that level of integrity that brings that with them and carries that with them in everything that they do.” Ryan also spoke about how important his wife and children are to him, saying, “My wife and kids are everything. I mean, that’s it. Back in July 2024, Blake actually responded to a fan who brought up rumours that she and Ryan had secretly divorced. The fan commented on her Instagram post, saying, “You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumours going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple.” Blake responded, “Haha they wish.” And despite all the speculation, Blake has continued to share little glimpses of her family life on Instagram. In June, she shared a picture of Ryan and referred to him as the “father of all of my favourite children”. She also shared a series of pictures from their family trip to England in March. Alongside the photos, Blake wrote, “So grateful for the best week with my loved ones.
