It’s been a big month for popular ‘00s actors making big bucks on OnlyFans. First up, there was American Pie and Scary Movie star Shannon Elizabeth, who earned more than $1million in her first week on the platform. Now, it’s the turn of a star from the 2005 sitcom My Name Is Earl. On April 26th, Shannon posted photos of her with star (and Margot Robbie lookalike) Jaime Pressly on Instagram, writing, “So great seeing you after all these years… Always nice crossing paths again and sharing a moment like this.” This led to speculation that Jaime – who played Joy Turner on My Name is Earl – would soon follow suit. And this week, that prediction came true, as she announced her move to OnlyFans. As she says in her bio, “The cameras may catch one version of me… This is where things get a little more personal, playful, and completely unfiltered.” Alongside exclusive photos and videos, she’s offering behind-the-scenes moments from her life, late-night thoughts, and direct chats. She says subscribers will get access to “the side of me Hollywood doesn’t always get to see… A little sweet. A little wild. Always authentic.” Her account officially went live on May 7th at 1pm PT – meaning it’s too early for numbers at this stage. However, Jaime did reveal why she’s venturing into the world of adult content. My Name is Earl star Jaime Pressly reveals why she’s launched OnlyFans In a statement shared with Variety, the actress – who more recently starred in the sitcom Mom – explained that she actually felt inspired to launch her OnlyFans career after meeting so many fans at Comic Cons. This is another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention,” she said. “I’ve loved meeting fans at various Comic Cons, and the excitement of having those real face to face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans.” The talent management agency Creators Inc. helped consult Jaime on the move, with CEO Andy Bachman describing her as “elite.” “Jaime Pressly has the rare mix of mainstream star power and a real audience connection that modern platforms reward,” he said. “She’s an elite entertainer, and fans are going to love what she creates here.” Shannon Elizabeth is cashing in on OnlyFans success As said, the move comes shortly after Shannon Elizabeth’s massive success on the platform, having earned an approximate $1.2million in her first seven days. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Us Weekly (@usweekly) The 52-year-old actress told Page Six earlier this week that she’s now going to “treat herself” to a new place to live, having split from her ex-husband Simon Borchert last September. “I know I’m going to stay out in South Africa because there’s a lot of work to do still with the [Shannon Elizabeth Foundation] and all. And I love it here! I have such a great friend group here,” she said. “So my first thing is figuring out where I’m going to stay and get my own place again. Everything’s been in storage since, like, September, so I need all my stuff out of storage.” Significantly, Shannon explained that the financial freedom it’s giving her allows her to focus on her foundation, which is dedicated to animal conservation, and not have to take up creative projects just because she needs the money. “I want to move more into directing and producing as well,” she added.
