Lily Allen’s awkward response after Zoë Kravitz accused her of kiss ‘attack’ without consent

Lily claimed the kiss happened after a night out

After airing out her David Harbour laundry for the whole world to see, the unconsented kiss between Lily Allen and Zoë Kravitz was dredged up from the depths of the internet once again.

It all started in 2018, when Lily Allen wrote about her friendship with Zoë in her biography, My Thoughts Exactly. After a night of partying in New York City, they allegedly “ended up kissing”, but Zoë’s version of events was shockingly different.

“Who is Lily Allen?” Zoë said on Watch What Happens Live when someone questioned her about the kiss. “If by kissing she means, like, attacking, then yes, she kissed me.”

“[She] attacked me,” she then emphasised, slamming how it was portrayed in the book “like I wanted it.”

Following the release of West End Girl, which detailed Lily Allen and David Harbour’s failed open marriage, the clip of Zoë on WWHL was reshared on Twitter, and people were angry.

“Discovering David Harbour is a creep led to discovering Lily Allen is a creep,” one person wrote.

Another said: “Hold up, I thought I knew all of her past behaviour but not this!!! What?!?”

Lily Allen did address the Zoë Kravitz kiss

Zoë Kravitz’s interview was published in December 2018, three months after Lily Allen’s book was launched, where she first wrote about the kiss. A full year after that, in 2019, Lily was incredibly awkward when an MTV journalist asked her about it.

“There was an instance in your book where you spoke about Zoë Kravitz, and she jumped on Andy Cohen’s show and said, ‘It didn’t go down like that.’ Thoughts on that?” the journalist asked.

Lily looked incredibly awkward in that moment, fiddling with her nails as she told her interviewer: “I can’t really speak for her. All I can say is my version of events, which didn’t match hers, clearly.”

Lily just nodded along as the journalist continued to talk about the moment, but then she was asked whether she would be watching Zoë Kravitz in Big Little Lies season two.

“Yeah, I really like that show,” she said, with minimal enthusiasm.
