Shocking Lily Allen ‘sexual assault’ claims resurface from when she ‘attacked’ Zoë Kravitz

Zoë Kravitz spoke out at the time

Following the release of Lily Allen’s new album, West End Girl, people on Twitter have called back to the time she “attacked” Zoë Kravitz with an unconsented kiss.

Lily Allen’s new album addresses the breakdown of her marriage to Stranger Things and Marvel actor David Harbour. From their open relationship to allegations of cheating, the album was as vulnerable as it was brutal – but now people are calling her a “hypocrite” on Twitter.

This viral saga goes back to 2018, when Lily dropped her memoir, My Thoughts Exactly. In it, she detailed a friendship with the actress and one particular night out where they kissed.

“For my New York shows, Zoë Kravitz and her band Lolawolf supported me, so I got to know Zoë a bit. We became friends,” she wrote.

“Later in the tour, when we were in Washington, the girls and their nanny, Jess, came out to visit me for a few days, but I had to go back to New York for a day or so for work. Zoë and I went out partying and ended up kissing. I heard that later that same night she’d got down with A$AP Rocky. Go girl, I thought.”

Just three months later, Zoë Kravitz had a starkly different version of events than Lily Allen as she sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.

Zoë Kravitz said Lily Allen ‘attacked’ her

During the press run for Fantastic Beasts, Zoë appeared on WWHL with her co-star Eddie Redmayne. It was during that interview that a viewer called in with the following question: “I was wondering if Lily Allen warned you that she was going to write about the two of you kissing in her autobiography, and how did that come about?”

Jokingly questioning, “Who is Lily Allen?”, Zoë Kravitz then claimed: “If by kissing she means, like, attacking, then yes, she kissed me.”

When Andy asked for confirmation, Zoë doubled down and affirmed, “[She] attacked me” whilst slamming how the so-called kiss was portrayed in the memoir.

“It was portrayed…” Andy continued, with the actress stating: “… like I wanted it.”

Zoë did not read the book and jabbed, “I don’t think anybody read the book”, to rave applause from the audience.

Lily Allen has never publicly commented on the accusations

Zoë Kravitz’s 2018 interview has been posted across Twitter this week, with some of the posts garnering millions of views.

“I’m sorry, but no matter how much people praise Lily Allen’s album, I just can’t press play. The fact that she sexually assaulted Zoë Kravitz and it’s being brushed over like nothing happened?? Just vile,” one person wrote.

Another tweet, which recieved 100k views, read: “Lily Allen sexually assaulted Zoe Kravitz, wrote about it in her book as if it was consensual. She can go f*ck herself. Evil. Demonic.”

Lily Allen has been approached for comment.
