Where you’ve seen the fabulous cast of No Good Deed before, from Scooby Doo to Scream

Lisa Kudrow alone is so much bigger than her Friends character

No Good Deed is currently sitting at number three on the Netflix chart, which is not massively surprising when you look at the uber-talented cast fronting the project.

No Good Deed follows three starkly different families as they compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa. Though its description sounds like a Selling Sunset spin-off, you can expect the highs, lows, and scandals associated with other Liz Feldman Netflix projects such as Dead To Me.

If you’ve binged the show and *that* shocking ending, you’re no doubt looking for other projects with No Good Deed’s leading stars. I’ve got you covered.

1. Lisa Kudrow

Lisa Kudrow

This queen should need no introduction, after all, it’s been over 20 years since we collectively fell in love with Phoebe Buffay on Friends. Though it’s undoubtedly her most famous role, Lisa Kudrow is no slouch when it comes to booking gigs in Hollywood.

Since Friends, she has appeared in projects such as Easy A, The Comeback, P.S. I Love You, Boss Baby, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Bad Neighbours. Oh, and who could forget 2024’s bonkers Apple TV project Time Bandits?

2. Linda Cardellini

Linda Cardellini

The ever-iconic Linda Cardellini has been working in TV and Film for decades, having appeared in everything from Legally Blonde to various Marvel projects. Alongside Christina Applegate, Linda fronted Liz Feldman’s other Netflix project Dead To Me.

Despite her many awards and notable projects, Linda Cardellini will always be remembered as Velma from the Scooby Doo films. That scene of her coming down the stairs in go-go boots might have actually altered my brain chemistry.

3. Ray Romano

Ray Romano

It’s almost hard to believe that No Good Deed bagged so many iconic actors, with Ray Romano himself working in the industry since 1990. Even if you don’t necessarily know his face, there’s no mistaking the voice of Manny the Mammoth from the Ice Age franchise.

Outside of his animated work, Ray has worked on films such as Fly Me to the Moon, The Big Sick, Parenthood, and The Irishman. Though I wouldn’t strictly say our generation knows him from Everybody Loves Raymond, you can’t talk about Ray Romano without paying tribute to the nine seasons he spent as the titular character.

4. Poppy Liu

No Good deed Poppy Liu

Compared to the other actors on this list, Poppy Liu is fairly new to the industry having first appeared on TV screens in 2018 on an episode of New Amsterdam. Since then, she has been featured in iCarly, Better Call Saul, Tales of the Walking Dead, and The Afterparty.

Suffice it to say that Poppy’s schedule will be booked after her No Good Deed performance.

5. Luke Wilson

Luke Wilson

Luke Wilson, not to be confused with his equally as talented brother Owen, has been established in Hollywood since his first on-screen appearance in 1994’s Bottle Rocket. Since then, he’s racked up credits on Scream, Legally Blonde, The Cleaner, Zombieland, Charlie’s Angels, and Anchorman.

Debates on who the most successful Wilson brother is have been ongoing for years, but it’s still pretty neck and neck.

6. Denis Leary

Denis Leary

If you watched Ice Age and found yourself strangely attracted to the sabre-tooth tiger Diego, you’ve got the gritty tones of Denis Leary to thank for that! But he’s no one trick pony, having leant his image to enormous films such as Spider-Man, Demolition Man, The Job, Small Soldiers, Underworld, and Rescue Me.

7. O-T Fagbenle

O-T Fagbenle

O-T Fagbenle has been a working actor since the early 2000s, first appearing in EastEnders as Angel Heavy for a two-episode stint. Following that, he jumped between British projects, featuring in everything from Casulty to Hollyoaks, Doctors to Doctor Who.

In the last few years, he has worked on well-reviewed TV shows such as Maxxx, The Handmaid’s Tale, Presumed Innocent, The First Lady, and The Interceptor. On the film side of things, you might recognise O-T from Black Widow, Looking, The Reeds, and I Could Never Be Your Woman.

8. Abbi Jacobson

Abbi Jacobson

Though she did appear in a number of projects before, the web series Broad City put Abbi Jacobson on the map. She starred in and wrote the highly acclaimed show, winning several Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

Outside of Broad City, Abbi has diversified her repertoire with animated flicks such as The Lego Ninjago Movie, Bob’s Burgers, Disenchantment – where she voiced the main character Bea – and BoJack Horseman.

9. Teyonah Parris

Teyonah Parris

Teyonah Parris has popped up in numerous large-scale projects over the years, from 2021’s horror remake Candyman to the musical crime comedy Chi-Raq in 2015.

After debuting in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021’s WandaVision, Teyonah’s character Monica Rambeau has seen a meteoric rise with her own standalone film alongside Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel. She is set to appear in future projects too, so watch this space.
