Blood vials to ‘tantric night terrors’: Moments that will make me miss Megan Fox and MGK

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are no more, but it’s okay because their questionable antics and viral moments will live on in our memories forever.

On Tuesday, a source told TMZ that Megan and MGK had called it quits after years of shocking us with graphic sex admissions and way too much talk of bodily fluids. It was reportedly over things found on MGK’s phone, with Michele Morrone later confirming it had nothing to do with speculation surrounding his chemistry with co-star Megan.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly were hardly the blueprints of a perfectly healthy relationship, which is precisely why I loved them. Just like I watch a film to be entertained, I want the same from celebrity relationships. Think less Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, and more Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

Throughout their four-year relationship, MGK and Megan rarely disappointed.

The first words that sparked their love story

Some relationships are love at first sight, and some take a little longer to wind up. The beginning of Megan Fox and MGK’s relationship was something else entirely. They first met at a GQ part when Megan reportedly said “You smell like weed” to MGK, who replied, “I am weed.”

Naturally, when trying to impress the woman whose posters have donned the wall of many a teenage boy, MGK behaved like one himself and threw a knife in the air intending to catch it. He did not and has the scar to prove it.

Megan revealed that MGK had told her “You’re going to be naked tonight”, and though some criticised the behaviour as controlling, she maintained that “whatever daddy says” goes.

That poor dining room table

In 2021, the couple were once again trending on Twitter after they strongly suggested – as in yelled – about having sex on an Airbnb dining room table.

“When I tell you that the table at this Airbnb saw some things,” Megan penned on Instagram, with her boo commenting underneath, “I’m really glad that’s not our table anymore.”

What actually happened for MGK to be glad he won’t see the table anymore is anyone’s best guess, though I’m not sure you really want to know.

They always carried a piece of one another

Megan Fox assures us that she only drinks blood for ritual purposes.

Just a year later in 2022, on Valentine’s Day no less, the couple revealed they had vials of each other’s blood that they wore as jewellery, with MGK writing “I wear your blood around my neck.”

Megan Fox took a slightly more esoteric approach to her Instagram post, explaining: “There goes my heart manifest outside of my body draped in the towering silhouette of a most unusually handsome boy/magical and haunted/kinetic and tortured/ethereal and dangerous/cosmic/lawless/eternal/creative genius/the journey will likely be perilous but there is no destination without him. Happy Valentine’s Day rehab Barbie.”

Oh, and did I mention they drank one another’s blood too? For ritual purposes, naturally.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly took PDA to the next level

If public displays of affection make people uncomfortable, then Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s take on PDA will be sure to send them reeling. They were rarely pictured together without touching in some way, whether that was her hands on his crotch or his tongue on her neck. I’ve seen way too much of the insides of their mouths to ever sleep a full eight hours again.

The ingredients of their relationship were like no others

Perhaps my favourite MGK and Megan moment came in 2021 when they sat down with GQ Style to talk about the many facets of their relationship. In an accompanying Instagram post for the interview, Megan issued the ingredients that make up their relationship.

If you thought you were about to read love and acceptance, communication, and not leaving the toilet seat up, you obviously haven’t been paying attention.

“Feverish obsession, guns, addiction, shamans, lots of blood, general mayhem, therapy, tantric night terrors, binding rituals, chakra sound baths, psychedelic hallucinations, organic smoothies, and the kind of sex that would make Lucifer clutch his rosary,” she wrote.
