Warm clothes are cheaper than gas prices

Warm clothes are cheaper than gas prices

| UPDATED

Temperatures are plummeting, teeth are chattering, and some crazy mates of yours are even starting to talk about snow.

Yup, winter’s definitely here. Not that anyone is going to turn on their heating any time soon.

Paying for the privilege of a warm house is expensive, and quite frankly one no student can afford.

Apart from that one house of people you know who are so wealthy they may as well burn money in the middle of the room, every student residence basically has icicles hanging from the ceiling.

Thankfully, that doesn’t mean you have to be cold though. For years we’ve prided ourselves on a brilliant collection of thick knitwear, but UNIQLO have raised the bar even further, with their HEATTECH clothing.

HEATTECH retains your body heat, storing it in pockets of air within the material of the clothing.

This may sound like the sort of high-tech wizardry you’d associate more with ski clothing than something you could wear to uni, but the HEATTECH range is exactly that.

Innovations like this don’t happen everyday, and UNIQLO teamed up with world-class textile manufacturer Toray to get the material just right. It took about 10,000 samples to get there, but the end result is a perfect fit.

So, if you’re shivering over your laptop and standing by the oven to stay warm, click here to get a voucher code for a free HEATTECH t-shirt today.

It’s only going to get colder.
