Guests are encouraged to wear their best 20s inspired outfits and live out their Great Gatsby on Tuesday January 24th, 2017.
From 7:00pm to 10:00pm, The Franklin Institute will hold a 1920s inspired event called Speakeasy, according to Philly Voice.
Attendees could expect to learn about the underground shenanigans of the Prohibition era, explore bootlegging, booze, and betting.
However, this event is 21+ event and IDs will be checked. Speakeasy tickets are $20 for non-members and $15 for members.
Tickets are also encouraged to be bought in advance due to the popularity of the event and what’s a better way to spend the brand new year than this?
