Almost two hundred students put in hotels after Barrett floods

So much for the desert

Barrrett dorms flooded tonight after a water pipe malfunctioned, leading Juniper Halls to be closed to all.

160 students currently living there are said to have been offered hotels for Tuesday night, paid for by ASU.

The great floods of Tempe were first announced via the administration’s email warning system.

ABC15 also noted that the The City of Tempe have denied responsibility for the problem, saying that ASU handles their own water and therefore is solely responsible.

It is unclear how long it will take to return Barrett to its former glory.
