CoffeeBytes

You are a J-schooler desperately trying to escape Vilas Hall for a couple of hours in between classes. While you may believe that you will be productive during this time and get a jump on your homework, there is a high likelihood that you will run into one of your J-school friends and will get swept up in a conversation about the weekend.

Colectivo on State

Either you are fortunate enough to live at The Hub or you are meeting your friend, boyfriend or study group. Colectivo is your ideal place to meet up with people because of its central location and bomb wifi. Whether you’re opting for indoor or outdoor seating, Colectivo is where the majority of your social life happens.

Fair Trade Coffee

You care about others and are into supporting local businesses. Instead of settling for one of the chain coffeehouses at the head of State Street, you have decided to venture further down the street, opting for a more unique coffee shop experience. If you’re looking for food, Fair Trade has awesome vegan/vegetarian options and serve locally sourced entrees.

Indie Coffee

You spend a lot of time seeking out the perfect coffee house, and you have finally found it. With a charming outdoor patio and an amazing assortment of breakfast sandwiches, Indie Coffee is your perfect hangout. The only downside to this downtown oasis is that it’s a bit of a hike, which actually allows you a little privacy.

Barriques

You are a sophisticated young adult. During your downtime between going to class and finishing up homework, you keep up with the latest literary classics at this high-end coffeehouse. As an added bonus, this coffee shop also sells wine, so you don’t have to feel bad about drinking during the day.
