Kylo Ren, Vikings and T-Rex: The best costumes of trick or treating on the lawn

Hands down the best part about Halloweekend

Let me start off by saying that dressing up and going out on the weekend is fun and all, but it cannot compare to the sheer joy of being at trick or treating on the lawn. From seeing little toddlers waddle around in their costumes to adults dressed up in $500 Kylo Ren costumes, everyone was super into it which made it the perfect ending for Halloweekend.

All I can say is thank you Mr. Jefferson

Walking up to central grounds the first thing you see is a firetruck with firemen willing to take pictures with kids and students alike.

The fireman waved at Jake. Jake took that as the okay to go and take a picture with him. The fireman instantly realized the error of his ways but it was too late, he was in too deep.

There were easily hundreds of people on the lawn at 4 pm sharp. Young and old, the trick or treaters went by the lawn rooms to get candy from residents and clubs. Once they were done with the rotunda area, they made their way down to Old Cabell for even more candy.

Old Cabell was PACKED. Walking up to it would make even the coolest frat boy squeal with joy.

There were so many dogs dressed up as every kind of character imaginable. Someone even brought a pic because why not?

The pig was a huge hit especially with the college students that practically pushed the little kids out of the way to get to it

The little kids ate up the viking display built by students. Some kids even challenged students to battle.

A wonderful feat of engineering, the E school would be proud.

While the princess, witch, zombie, and superhero costumes were great, there was a very particular trend this year: Inflatable costumes galore.

Dinosaurs were ridiculously popular this year.

People in inflatable costumes generally would try and chase/waddle after each other.

All in all this was honestly the best 2 hours of my semester so far. 10/10 would recommend.
