The Evive Station revolution

Going green is finally cool

Have you heard about the water bottle with the bar code?

Yea, me neither – until now. And I really want one.

These fancy, new fangled water bottles from Evive Station have a bar code that allow you to use a big water box machine. This machine scans your bottle, cleans it, tracks your water consumption, and lets you pick…FLAVORED WATER.

Did they just make going green cool? Yes. Their whole premise is reducing plastic water bottle waste world wide.

There is a cost of course (looking at you, Econ majors). The bottle, if you did not get a free one somehow (I missed it too), is $20. To use the fancy Evive Station machine for its cleaning and flavored beverage consumption is as low as quarter a day.

These costs are so minuscule compared to what people actually pay for bottled water and soda, so we should just eliminate small charges with zero-waste high tech water stations. I think Evive Stations are the next big thing, especially seeing it in action as people wait in line to use it in Clemons.
