CRAVE hosts their annual fashion show this Friday

This year the show is called ‘Disturbia’

Every Spring semester, the University of Virginia philanthropic organization CRAVE hosts a student-run fashion show.

CRAVE, which stands for ‘ Creative, Raw, And Very Edgy’ is hosting their annual fashion show, titled “Disturbia”, this year in the Main Street Arena on April 8th. The doors open at 6:30pm and the show is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 each and all of the proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia – specifically the one on Cherry Avenue which they closely volunteer with.

“My whole life is CRAVE,” says president Tayler Young. “At LEAST four hours of my day are committed to CRAVE, but the whole organization practices an average of four to five hours a week and this week we have been practicing every day since it is the week of the fashion show.”

Based on past experiences, I highly recommend going to this fashion show. Not only do their profits go toward a good cause, but it is evident that the students that organize the show and the models (which are also students) put a lot of work into it.
