Thousands protest President-elect Trump in Downtown LA
Signs included swastikas and denouncements of the DNC
The week may be over, but an angry electorate storming the streets of Downtown Los Angeles has refused to die down. Saturday marks the fourth consecutive day of protests against President-elect Donald J. Trump in L.A.’s city center.
Local law enforcement are blockading the entrances to the city’s highways to avoid Wednesday night’s debacle of protestor-ridden I-110 and I-101. The protest remained peaceful, with primary chants including “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA,” “Black lives matter,” “trans lives matter” and “not my president.”
