We just realized the ‘i’ in Alpine Bagels’ logo is the only letter not capitalized and it has us shook

Does that ‘i’ stand for illuminati?

Today I was in the mood for a delicious, caffeinated beverage, so I ventured out from my spot in Davis and travelled to The Pit. I made my way into the Union to pick up a coffee and I  stood in line casually contemplating what I wanted to drink when – suddenly – I see this:

Sure, it may just be the Alpine logo, but if you look closely you realize THE “i” IS THE ONLY LETTER NOT CAPITALIZED. I am shook. Am I the only one who has never seen this? As many times as I have been to Alpine for my oval office on an everything bagel, I have never noticed the insanity that is their logo.

At first I thought maybe it was an issue with the sign. Surely, the Union staff did something wrong. But when I looked down at my chococcino cup, I realized my worst nightmare was true. The little “i” is everywhere.

I also may have just chugged a chococcino from Alpine – so I am currently quite ‘woke’ while writing this – but it does not deafen the issue at hand. Why is the “i” the only letter not capitalized?  What else are they not telling us? Is Alpine a part of the Illuminati? That “i” must stand for something.

You might say, “Molly, they’re just trying to emphasize the ‘i'”. Really? If that were the case, wouldn’t it be alpIne?

Until I find out the reasoning behind this interesting capitalization, I am boycotting Alpine – or should I say, ALPiNE? I will let you all know how long I live without their bagels.
