North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory recently released a new campaign ad where he calls controversial NC House Bill #2 “Common Sense.”
The TV ad argues that while Gov. McCrory was “raising the average teacher salary” and “protecting” kids, his rivals were wasting time vocalizing concerns about HB2. The bill requires people to use the single-sex bathroom or changing facility that matches their biological sex. For many Americans, HB2 represents blatant discrimination towards the LGBTQ+ community.
