We asked UConn Huskies how many selfies they take

We’re all guilty of it

Duck face, mirror pic, the classic selfie with a cat…Who doesn’t love a good selfie?

This simple act of selfie taking has become an art form of sorts for our generation. From the subtle selfie, while bored in math class, to a group shot at Teds, selfies have become a major part of the typical college students daily lives.

Admit it, we all take selfies…so we took a trip around the UConn campus asking willing individuals to share with us how many selfies they have hiding on their phones.

Griffen Cassata, Freshman, Chemistry

“None because I’m not narcissistic”

Ashley Clancy

“I have more memes than anything, it’s how I communicate through texting.”

Marisa Tedeschi, Sophomore

“I probably only have five selfies. I don’t really save selfies, I just snapchat them.”

Adam Rock, Junior

“I’m not really big on the whole selfie game, so I don’t have any to be honest.”

Denis Delaflor, Sophomore

Admitting to having a selfie of himself in glasses on his phone, “No regrets… I’m gonna be famous now.”

Jason Pepin, Freshman business student:

“I have three, only because my mother insisted on them.”

Nicollette Hill, Junior, English

“I only have two hahaha”…most of her selfies included other people, not just her “self”.

The final consensus: Most of the guys on campus are not as selfie savvy as our gals, and selfies seem to” be more of a fun friendly way to communicate with your friends. My personal opinion, selfies are pretty cool especially when you add your own little signature (ex: selfies with your cat). So selfie it up people, and show off your best selfie you!
