‘This is crazy’: UCLA reacts to death of student who fell from Boelter Hall roof
It has been confirmed the student took his own life
A UCLA student has died after falling from the roof of Boelter Hall last night.
Police responded to reports about the incident around 6:30 p.m. on October 18, 2016. The student was immediately rushed to the nearby Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and passed away later.
UCPD has not released the name of the student yet, but has confirmed that the student took his own life.
Understandably, many students were upset over the incident and took to Twitter to voice their feelings.
This comes after a professor was shot and killed by a student in the Engineering building near Boelter Hall four months ago.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his friends and family at this time.
