UC Davis is one of the best schools on earth, says a new ranking
We are also better than UCSB
New QS World University Rankings for 2018 have been released, ranking The University of California, Davis (UCD) in 118th.
We dropped 33 spots but remain above UCSB, Dartmouth,UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz, UVA, Georgetown, UC Riverside, and Vanderbilt.
The QS World University Rankings bases their scores on the expert opinions of 75,015 academics and 40,455 employers, also analyzing institutional research impact. It’s known as the definitive guide of global university rankings.
Numerous other colleges continue to rank lower as there is more competition internationally which makes it harder for US institutions to attract international faculty and students.
According to Top Universities, “21 of the top 50 universities in the US & Canada have fallen down the ranking since last year.”
