BREAKING: Police receive ‘threatening person’ call in Dwinelle

They are carrying assault rifles

At approximately 1:10 pm, a group of six police officers gathered outside Dwinelle.

Many were on bicycles, and at least one was carrying an assault rifle.

They appeared to be discussing something, and then broke apart- four entered Dwinelle and the other two circled the building to post at different building entrances.

One of the officers reported: “We received a call about a person of threat entering the building. We are searching the building and recommend avoiding going inside until we have further information”.

They are withholding any details until they complete the perimeter search, so as to avoid raising unnecessary alarm.

2:00 p.m. update:

The police report that there is no threat- the student who called in had seen an armored cash transporter in a bullet proof vest. There is no danger present and the area is clear.

More updates to follow.
