BREAKING: Two men arrested outside Wendy’s on suspicion of ‘guns’

‘It was only a toy gun’

Two young men were arrested by Philadelphia police in front of the Wendy’s at 1701 North Broad Street on Friday night. Police were on the scene following reports of “guns” near Broad. ‘

Ryan Rodgers, a local to the area, witnessed the event and told The Tab Temple: “They locked up two boys. They said it was a gun at first but it was only a toy gun.”

As many as 15 squad cars were on the scene. Police were seen surrounding a group of males.

Two people of interest were arrested and taken away.

Temple Police have not yet released any information.
