Temple’s new Sideline Shop has its grand opening tomorrow
Just another place we can spend our non-existent money
The Temple University bookstore sent out an email earlier this morning announcing the highly anticipated Sideline Shop is set to open tomorrow morning.
The store located beneath Morgan Hall North has been in the making since mid-October.
Students were reluctant when first seeing the added construction on campus. People were unsure of what was actually going to be put in place beneath Morgan North.
It came as a surprise to many that what actually was going to be in place was a new store where students could purchase clothes such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, and tees by Temple’s sponsor, Under Armour.
Overall, we’re relieved there will be a new store: more stores means less of a wait time in line when shopping at the book store: we all know is dreadful in the beginning and end of the semester when all you want to do is buy apparel.
The grand opening will take place on Friday December 4th at 11am at the store’s new location, 1601 North Broad Street, right beneath Morgan Hall North. Those who are able to attend the grand opening can celebrate along with the university with a 25 percent off discount on one Temple apparel item.
