There’s going to be a cheesesteak FESTIVAL next weekend

Wit or witout

Cheesesteaks, on cheesesteaks, on cheesesteaks, its time to prepare for the first ever Cheesesteak Festival in Philadelphia.

Come hungry because you are going to be leaving with a satisfied and very full stomach after sampling from over 40 different cheesesteak vendors.

Mark your calendars for Saturday October 24 because this is an event you are not going to want to miss. Held at the Lincoln Financial Field you’ll be able to taste the traditional Philly cheesesteak, a favorite of all. Yet you will also be able to sample your not so traditional cheesesteak.

From vegetarian, to gluten free, and even an egg roll inspired cheesesteak you are not going to regret stuffing your face with these specialty sandwiches.

You can even take it to the next level and enter to participate in the cheesesteak eating contest.

Over 35,000 cheesesteak lovers have already purchased their tickets online. Ticket prices vary from $20 to $60, you can buy a ticket just to have access into the venue or purchase “the works” which includes it all from samples, riding the bull and a free t-shirt.

Not only will you get to have access to a multitude of cheesesteaks, there will be live music, a mechanical bull, games and even some shopping!

“This is a great time for Philadelphia,” said Kevin Baxter, one of the head planners in organizing the festival. Philadelphians can give some extra love and indulge on more heesesteaks than normal, and people traveling from outside of the city can experience what the people of Philly can every day.

You cheddar believe it’s going to brie beautiful day at Love Park, can’t wait for the Cheesesteak Festival! (Was that cheesy?)
