Temple board voting to replace Cosby with Tamron Hall

The Cosby era can finally come to a close

The Board of Trustees is finally voting to fill disgraced comedian Bill Cosby’s board seat.

1992 Temple graduate and NBC anchor, Tamron Hall is the candidate to replace him. She was the first African American woman to be a host on The Today Show.

The chairman of the 36-member board, Patrick O’Connor, said he believes that Tamron has the board’s support already and is a “vibrant, loyal alum” who could “add a new dimension” to the board.

Tamron also loves Temple. In a magazine published here, she was quoted as saying Temple “gave me my confidence,” as it does for so many students.

Cosby’s seat was left open when he stepped down from the board following his multiple sexual assault allegations that broke during December of last year.

Voting starts tomorrow.
