Every reason we want to get back to ‘Cuse
Only eight more days
Summer is coming to an end, and it’s time to start packing. Every year we look forward to heading to campus and this year is no exception. Whether you’re a freshman getting to experience Syracuse for the first time or a senior getting ready to finish your amazing time at ‘Cuse, chances are you can’t wait to get back.
These are some of the reasons why.
The Quad
If you’re a returning student you know the beautiful quad won’t be in use for long. It’s time to lay out in the sun, throw a frisbee, and enjoy it before our campus becomes the real life depiction of the movie Frozen. It wasn’t too long ago that our “spring” was a winter wonderland.
You can’t wait to Dage
We don’t need a reason to party day or night. Whether we’re tailgating or just bored on a Tuesday afternoon there’s never a dull moment at ‘Cuse. We work hard and party harder.
You’re ready to decorate
You can’t wait to move into your new dorm/house and you’ve started planning how you’re going to decorate your room. Pinterest has nothing on you, you’re ready to star in college edition of MTV Cribs.
The Dome
It’s almost time to cheer on our Division I athletes who’ve been training all summer. No one does school spirit quite like we do. Everyone looks good in orange.
Marshall Street
Whether Varsity pizza is your go to or you’re craving a burrito bowl Marshall street never lets us down. Lunch dates and drunk food are so close we can almost taste it coming back up.
The People
The friends you meet in college are what keeps you coming back even in the coldest of times. Who else will be down to go on a midnight adventure, wander around destiny, and brave numerous tundras? The bond we form with our fellow orangemen is like no other.
The Guest Speakers
We go to one of the best schools in the country, which brings us amazing speakers. Whether they be your favorite actress, comedian, and/or an impressive alumni Syracuse never disappoints.
Juice Jam
It’s almost time for Juice Jam 2016. We don’t know who’s preforming September 27th but all eyes are on University Union. In the words of our most recent performers “Don’t let [us] down.”
It’s time to get back to Syracuse for another amazing semester. See you soon!
