‘Done, that’s my virginity it’s over’: How did you lose it?

Exactly as dirty as it sounds

We went out on three separate occasions and asked students how they lost their virginity. After officially making people uncomfortable and getting them to tell me about their most intimate moments, I got the answers.

For our third and final installment, here is how Syracuse students lost their virginities.

“This was the first boy I was ever in love with. Yeah big deal. I had a huge thing for him for a year and we went on the best date I’ve ever been on. Then we ended up in the same city over summer and we were casually hooking up then he started being flakey. I told him if we were going to do anything it had to be exclusive and we needed to hang out as friends and once that started it got a lot better.

“So July 4th in Washington DC I lost my virginity. And it was terrible.

“I didn’t know what I was doing and for some reason he thought it would be a good idea for me to start on top. This might be too much information but I can’t even use tampons because they hurt. So nothing’s really been up that way… and then all of a sudden it was like PENIS.

“So we tried for three hours and after that he got it in. That’s all I could handle, I was like ‘Done that’s my virginity it’s over.’ And then the following night we managed to kind of have sex but it was terrible, it hurt a lot and I bled a lot. Eventually after a couple days we managed to have normal sex and it was pretty good. We spent the rest of the summer banging and it was super cute and romantic so yeah.”

“It was a high school party junior year with the girl I was going to prom with. I don’t know it was both of our first times and it was some classic shit I guess, very normal.

“It was slightly awkward because for a bit I was carrying around a condom in my wallet, but I guess it paid off. It was in my friend’s bed. I was like ‘Dude you have to help me out here. I will literally wash your sheets.'”

“I was 16, actually it was 15 when I first started talking about it so I was very fresh, very young. My boyfriend and I had been dating for nine months at the time so we felt like it was time to do it. We had done other stuff with each other and it was time. We were ready.

“We kinda had a weird awkward telephone conversation and he was like ‘So uh we’re going to Block Island we should uh you know.’ And I was like ‘Well uh alrighty now but I wanna make it special and blah blah blah.’ But I was down.

“So we were on the island and it was actually a pretty nice night, I remember it perfectly. To lose your V card it was pretty fantastic. So we kind of had it planned. My boyfriend had a house on the beach and we planned to sneak out after hours. So it was dark and his parents and like siblings had already gone to bed. So we snuck out and walked all the way to this kind of abandoned beach and it was like a pretty romantic walk and whatever. And it was pretty stupid because I was young and didn’t know what I was doing, so we decided to give each other speeches before it happened. I was on high school speech team. So we gave each other speeches about how we loved each other and this was the right time. Each of us took our turns.

“We went to the beach and we just did it. It lasted 45 seconds, it hurt a lot and I cried afterwards.”

“Freshman year, my dorm neighbor, it might have been to electro-swing.”
