U.S. World News published their second annual ranking of 750 of world’s top universities titled Best Global Universities Rankings.
Syracuse rank 329th.
Syracuse received a global score of 50.9 tying with Umeå University (who?), University of Granada (what?), University of Mississippi (since when?), and Virginia Commonwealth University (WHY?).
‘Cuse made it into the top 250 universities for Social Science and Public Health along with our Physics programs.
If this was a basketball or partying ranking, we would have killed it.
At Syracuse University we do not need rankings to tell us how awesome we are. We’ve been listed on the top of several charts over the years, and no matter what, we bleed orange!
If you want to waste your time over-analyzing the rankings go right ahead, but this too shall pass.
