Scott Shafer: The Jordan Belfort of New York coaches?

Perhaps the State, but certainly not the ACC

Head football coach Scott Shafer earns about 44 times the amount of an average SU Parking lot attendant.

Coach Shafer received $1.3 million for the 2015 SU football season, nearly triple to what Head Coach Jeff Quinn of the University of Buffalo makes.

Shafer is ranked 66th out of 128 coaches in the NCAAF and is the highest paid football coach in the state of New York. The second highest being Coach Jeff Monken of Army ($880,000).

His salary seems acceptable in comparison the rest of the coaches in the conference (14th) based off our performance last season,  where we finished 3 for 9 and only 1 for 7 in conference play.
