Is Joe Biden this year’s commencement speaker?

Bae might be back

Rutgers officials have confirmed that they have invited past U.S. vice president Joe Biden to speak for Rutgers 2018 commencement this May.

Biden hasn't officially responded yet, as he isn't sure he can commit to the May 13 date.

Students would welcome Biden with open arms, as he had a very warm reception last week on campus. It's also worth noting that past president Barack Obama spoke at the 2016 commencement, so it's only fitting that the vice president at that time would come back two years later.

Biden also welcomed students with open arms as he took selfies and facetimed people's moms after his speech.

Whenever Biden accepts or declines the offer, The Tab will let you know.
