If Rutgers campuses were students

College Ave is the ultimate day drinker

Whether it is the overly stigmatized American frat boy or the bookworm who is on the quieter side, Rutgers has them all. From the far off hidden corners of campus, to the boisterous strip that Greek life has claimed their own – every campus has a story, much like every student that goes here. So here is what each campus would be like if they were Rutgers students.

College Avenue

The naïve incoming college freshman with no idea what he wants to do yet – but to him, that’s okay because it means easy core classes and tons of fun. College Avenue is the first-year who is eager to get the full college experience, and he will do just that by whatever means necessary: joining Greek life, day drinking, and making best friends with the teacher’s pet in his class, just to ensure he’ll have notes to borrow when he skips class. Everyone knows College Avenue for one reason and one reason only, he is the life of the party. Girls swoon over him because he’s the profile of American fun, and all the guys want to chill with him because whenever College Avenue announces a party, women are everywhere. He’s undoubtedly intriguing for the first semester, and though he becomes a bit jaded in the second semester, he still retains his American charm. Everyone remembers him because they’ve shared the most fun moments with him, as well as the most embarrassing moments.

Livingston Campus

As a business student, Livingston knows all too well that a very important quality to have is presentation. Livi is the perfect example of a plain Jane who transformed into a beautiful swan. Livingston has only recently become well liked – since her enhancements were done not long ago – and because of this, people who spend enough time with her know that although she’s pretty to look at, she is quite lacking in personality. She’s beautiful but offers absolutely nothing after the first two months of the semester. Known as College Avenue’s plain little sister, she comes in far second as the most popular person on campus, but she’s trying hard. She’s a great cook and is well known for serving her friends some great food. Livingston is great with kids, as most graduating high school students spend time with her during their orientation due to her gilded appearance.

Cook/Douglass

Douglass prefers to surround herself with other strong women, and has a slight obsession with nature. She also has a sister, Cook, who majors in Environmental Studies. Cook loves animals as well as nature, and spends a lot of time walking due to her immense love of open spaces and the outdoors. The sisters are both on the quiet side, and although they look incredibly similar and people often confuse them for the same person, they do have some slight differences. Both sisters are pretty introverted in their own respects, but regardless people still like to spend time with them due to the aura of calmness they offer.

Busch

Busch is a transfer is majoring in Biology in hopes of becoming a doctor, and because of this, has no time to join College Avenue for his awesome parties. Busch get’s a bad reputation for being reclusive, but he comes alive whenever there’s a football game. In his spare time, he chooses to play video games with his equally introverted friends, and usually keeps himself quite secluded from the rest of the student body. He is motivated by his studies, and is confident in reaching his goals. His attitude in life has always been a one-way street: get up, study, eat, sleep, and repeat. Despite his monotonous lifestyle, commuters seem to not mind him. He has nothing to take from them, but does offer them an abundance of educational resources and beautifully scenic walks around a large, spacious campus. And although polar opposites, he does share one quality that makes him similar to College Avenue, his tremendous love for Big Ten football. He isn’t very good at it, but it’s his passion nonetheless.
