Everyone you’ll see at Alexander Library
‘This assignment isn’t due for like three days, I’m totally fine…’
The camper
You may leave to go to bed or the bathroom, but these people will never abandon their spot. They usually have the best seats the ones with outlets right next to them.
The texter
This person will have all their homework and laptop out, but will be texting most of the time. Sometimes they try to make conversation, but dont expect anything verbose it’s usually imessage lingo.
The stimulant
Sometimes its hard to see this person because they have too many empty coffee cups and red bull cans surrounding them, but if you go close enough you can feel them vibrating from all the adderall they have taken.
The Netflix and study
Hey I mean studying is cool to succeed in the future, but watching The Office is more important right now I guess.
The complainer
This person takes two to three minutes to complete one homework question, but will spend six to seven minutes complaining about how they will never need to know this information in the “real world.”
The party
This group of people will be hanging out with their friends. Eating, talking, and having fun while the rest of us just rust away into a dark oblivion of depression.
The overachiever
This person will have finished all their work for the next few weeks, but will be freaking out because they havent started studying for the final when its only been three weeks into the semester. Can you like…do less?
The Procrastinator
“The assignment isn’t due for another three days, I’m fine.”
“I still have like four hours before I have to submit the homework.”
“Alright, 30 minutes before this 1000 word essay is due. I guess it’s time to be proactive and start.”
The foodie
I’m not sure if this person is just hungry all the time or is confused whether this is a cafeteria or not.
The distracter
It’s motivating to go to the library with a friend sometimes, but maybe just not this friend. They will spend the entire time talking to you about anything but academics.
