We asked upperclassmen how they identify freshmen

They’re always lost

Short of wearing a giant sign saying “I just got here,” freshmen are pretty easy to identify on campus. By sophomore year, you realize your decision to wear the same CLASS OF 2019 t-shirt for weeks at a time may not have been the best.

These upperclassmen revealed a few embarrassing traits of freshman at Rutgers.

Grace, senior, Exercise Science

“They seem to be lost at bus stops.”

Katherine, senior, Public Policy

“They pull the stop requested cord on buses.”

Keerthi, 1st year graduate, Statistics

“They just look so young.”

Gianna, senior, Journalism

“They travel in huge packs wherever they go.”

Sandeep, 1st year graduate, Mathematical Finance

“They look confused every time they have to catch a bus.”

Tom, Sophomore, ITI

“They wear lanyards.”

Savannah, sophomore, Communications

“They wear the ‘RU Throwdown 2019’ all the time.”

Suchendra, 1st year graduate, Mathematical Finance

“They look lost while walking alone”

Rica, sophomore, Psychology and Biology

“They are always early to class.”

Bea, sophomore, Nutritional Science

“They are overly enthusiastic when they are introducing themselves.”
