Traces of cocaine found across College Ave campus

This has been your snort report

They say college is a time to try new things, and apparently cocaine is one of those things at Rutgers. Using special wipes, we tested for the drug residue in popular locations around the College Ave campus.

The MMC cocaine wipes – developed by Tri-Tech Forensics – turn from pink to blue when they come in contact with traces of cocaine. We put on gloves and began wiping surfaces all across campus.

First stop, the women’s locker room.

It seems like students need a little help unwinding after a hard workout session – faint little blue dots quickly appeared on the wipes.

Next, we headed over to Alexander Library and found students are doing a lot more than just cramming for exams. We checked out the bathroom too, and the results once again came back positive. The wipes turned from pink to blue instantly.

Scott Hall was next on our list, and it didn’t let us down.

Results from wiping a study lounge were inconclusive.

But perhaps our favorite location students apparently snorted up was on top of the washers in a Rutgers apartment complex.

We even checked the elevators in the same complex. That too brought out the blue.

Turns out the Rutgers student body has been pretty busy.
