It’s finally time to spend Valentine’s Day with your one true love — coffee. Valentine’s Day just got sweeter and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Having three Starbucks locations within two miles, I think it’s safe to say that Boilermakers love their coffee. And as if we weren’t already spending most of our money at this sanctuary, Starbucks released three limited time drinks on Monday, February 8.
Goodbye wallet, hello caffeine-induced coma
As we enter the first heartbreaking round of exams, Starbucks couldn’t have acted at a better time.
The mouthwatering triad includes the molten chocolate latté, molten hot chocolate, and molten chocolate Frappuccino. Something tells me Cupid had special plans for us this V-day because I think I’m in love, and I certainly won’t be going home alone.
I’ve got my eyes on something tall, dark, and handsome
The molten chocolate latte is espresso and mocha-infused steamed milk with chocolate chips melted into it. You can get this cup of joe hot or iced.
If you’re looking for a decaf dream to satisfy your coffee cravings, the molten hot chocolate is the drink for you. This one is the same as the molten chocolate latte without the espresso.
The molten chocolate Frappuccino is your classic coffee with mocha infused milk and chocolate chips blended with ice. If you want a bit of frozen jitter juice this caffeine concoction has your name all over it.
I know you’re probably too busy daydreaming about the sweet sensation you will feel once you get your hands on one of these bad boys, but in case you’re still functioning, here’s the one thing you need to know:
They’re only available through Valentine’s Day. And yes, the Union, 3rd Street, and State St are participating.
