Princeton WR Seth DeValve Drafted by the Cleveland Browns

He’s the highest-drafted Princeton player since 1966

Princeton Wide Receiver Seth Devalve was drafted in the 138th overall in the fourth round by the Cleveland Browns.

DeValve was a captain on last year’s football team and finished his college career with 133 receptions for 1,336 yards and 7 touchdowns.

At 6′ 4″ and 245 lbs, DeValve will play as a tight end in the NFL despite being a wide receiver for the Tigers.  He was Cleveland’s 9th selection in the draft and was the 5th tight end selected.

DeValve is the highest-drafted Princeton player since Charlie Gogolak was selected by the Redskins in 1966.  DeValve is the third player to be drafted into the NFL from Princeton in the last four years.
