Help Princeton beat MIT in #MarchGladness and raise money for charity

Donate to charity just by surfing the Internet

Join Princeton students raising money for the charity of your choice…and beat MIT in a competition to gain the most points. Win win, no?

Gladly Inc is running a competition with its two apps, Tab for a Cause and Goodblock, to turn online advertisements into charitable donations.

It’s part of a race called #MarchGladness, pitting 64 colleges together to raise money for charity. Princeton now has the chance to go through to the final four.

According to their websites, Tab for a Cause has raised over $219,000 so far, and Goodblock has raised over $170,000. The applications have been applauded by publications like the LA Times, The Huffington Post, and USA Today.

Last year, Tab for a Cause provided water to almost 6,000 people, and protected 182 acres of rainforest. We can help these numbers grow.

How does it work?

Once you’ve downloaded the applications, they do all the work. Tab for a Cause’s sponsors simply donate every time you open a tab. Goodblock replaces the ads you would normally see with onesĀ from their sponsors (like an adblocker that also raises money for charity).

Partnered charities include organizations that work for better education, conservation, defense of human rights, decreased malnutrition and more.

Join these Princeton students and help us beat MIT.
