We’re going to earn $61,300 after graduating

That’s nearly TWICE the national average

After graduation, we’re going to earn an incredible $61,300 a year – nearly $30,000 more than the national average.

New data released by college researchers at Payscale ranks us 8th overall in the US for the best graduate starting salary and the best mid-career salary (10 years after graduation) – two spots ahead of UPenn, and dozens of ranks above Columbia and Yale (tied 46th place).

Although these fellow Ivy League universities have similar starting salaries – both just above the $60,000 mark – they’re lower in the overall rankings because of their alums’ mid-career salaries. Guess the production of an endless stream of English majors doesn’t really help Yale’s stats much.

While a Princeton student can expect to make an amazing $122,000 after 10 years, someone who graduates from Columbia or Yale will earn almost $20,000 less on average.

Here’s to our future selves, the second-richest Ivy League alums! Harvard, we’re coming for you.
