“During the ICA’s fall show I worked as a train operator, shuttling gallery patrons aboard a large model train from point A to point B and back again.”
Dayz Terry ’19, works at Penn Woman’s Center
“I basically answer the phone, talk to students who come in, help manage events…and yes, occasionally I get to do homework.”
Meghan Swyryn ’17, works at Penn Women’s Cardiovascular Center
“I research treatment for preeclampsia which involves googling a lot of stuff about being healthy after having a baby, how drugs affect breastfeeding, etc. Basically Google now thinks I’m pregnant.”
Malkia Okech ’19, works at Penn Museum
“Summing up my job, I guess sometimes you just open a box and its either a dead old person or some poison darts. Even if we’ve got to find three different bags of old corn, there’s never a dull moment.”
