A UOregon Psychology professor’s joke syllabus is going viral

Everything is fucked: The course students will be clamoring for

Summer doesn’t stop Oregon students and faculty from having fun, including professors.

On Thursday Oregon’s Department of Psychology Professor, Sanjay Srivastava, jokingly posted on his blog that he will feature a seminar-type class where students will discuss papers written by a professional psychologist about what it means for something to be fucked.

Needless to say, the syllabus joke went viral and the readers enjoyed it.

Readers had a laugh upon its posting

The post also filtered on to Twitter, where social media audience members were online feeding off his humor.

The post featured a fake syllabus, where each week students will be expected to find a paper that explains the “fuckedness” of the week’s topic followed by a 15 minute presentation of why the chosen topic is fucked or not.

The joke was even deemed inspirational, and seen as encouragement for people to think scientifically

Adding on the humor, professor Srivastava wrote that students can contact him for office hours at any time via Twitter.

Although not real, it’s a summer laugh the internet will remember for a long time.
