Street Style: The best dressed at Double Decker 2016

Dogs were the ultimate accessory

This year’s Double Decker Arts Festival saw all of Oxford grab their sunglasses and new summer outfits and head out to the Square.

As the crowds milled around in the sunshine browsing the shops, eating corn dogs, and occasionally wandering to south depot for one of their famous frozen margaritas, we took the opportunity to pick out some of the styles on show, from the subtle to the more flamboyant.

Dogs were definitely the ultimate accessory on the square that day, and the pairing of these gladiator sandals really completes the outfit.

This bright patterned wraparound shirt was perfect for Saturday’s high temperatures, and the addition of the hat truly exudes the summer vibes.

However, it was not all about bright colors and dog accessorizing, as many chose a more simple yet equally striking look.

As always, and despite the heat, the cowboy boots were out accompanied by a variety of outfits.

Ole Miss students met hot competition from some of Oxford’s local residents, who took Double Decker fashion attire to a whole new level.

No matter what you wore, Double Decker was a good time for all.
