Lyft is offering free rides to polling locations in Ohio

All you need is the code ‘GOVOTEOH’

According to data released by the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, 21.3% – or around 10 million Millennials turned out to vote in the 2014 Midterm Elections. The Center for American Progress found that in the 2012 Election, of 64 million eligible voters, 26% actually voted. Therefore, 74% of Millennials did not vote, according to The Huffington Post.

If you use the code GOVOTEOH, Lyft will provide you with a free ride to your polling location. This will help many college students who do not have a car get to their respective polling places.  Don’t let not having a car determine if you vote or not, Lyft has you covered.
