Bomb threat near Ohio Stadium closes streets on campus

Police investigate as they urge students to report any suspicious activity

An alert was sent out at 10:06am about a bomb threat targeting a bus stop near the Ohio Stadium, which closed down Glenn Avenue and Tuttle.

20 minutes later, the roads were reopened after the threat was not deemed credible, but the CPD urges students to keep an eye out, using the hashtag #SeeSomethingSaySomething as they continue to investigate.

These events highlight the importance of reporting any threatening activity to the police. Even if it turns out to be just a “scare,” it is better to have police investigate and find nothing than let a real threat turn into action without investigation or intervention.
