Preacher grabbed by student on the Oval
The Oval was lit today
Today around 3:15 pm a preacher was grabbed by an unidentified male on The Oval while preaching.
Brother Mikhail, another preacher on the scene and an Oval regular, was able to find the video of the incident and provided it to The Tab.
“I don’t believe he was trying to hurt me,” said Micah Armstrong, the oval preacher who was grabbed in the video.
Armstrong was not hurt, but said he wants a sincere apology from the male.
Lantern Reporter Aaron Tomich said he overhead Officer Linton say “this could be potentially disorderly conduct,” to the male who grabbed the preacher in the video.
“I see the police standing over there and aren’t really doing anything here, what’s next here somebody’s going to get assaulted here,” said Armstrong.
The unidentified male was questioned by the OSUPD, and later left The Oval. It is unclear if charges have been filed as OSUPD declined to comment further on the situation.
