Everyone is adding OSU WR Torrance Gibson on Snapchat
He’s been suspended for violating the university code of conduct
Torrance Gibson has been suspended by Ohio State for violating the student code of conduct. It is another setback for Gibson, who was switched from a QB to a WR during the 2015 camp.
Urban Meyer was asked about the ban during his weekly press conference this lunchtime. He said the decision “Was not athletic department or football – and I disagree with it.”
Gibson is said to have violated the student code of conduct.
Local reporter Jordan Strack has tweeted that Gibson is accused of harassment by a tutor.
There is speculation that Gibson’s code of conduct breach had something to do with his Snapchat. OSU could not confirm either allegation when contacted by The Tab.
A spokesperson for the university said: “Federal privacy laws prohibit us from commenting beyond the statement given by the Department of Athletics.”
