Afroduck has been stuffed for an exhibit on campus

The famous mascot of Mirror Lake has been stuffed in order to preserve his body

The body of Afroduck will officially be ready for the open house on Saturday, April 23rd at the Museum of Biological Diversity at Ohio State.

The open house will be from 10am to 4pm and admission is free.

The beloved Crested Pekin duck was found dead at Mirror Lake on January 27th, 2016.

However, on February 22, 2016 a new Afroduck appeared at the Mirror Lake, although his afro is not as impressive.

The stuffing of Afroduck will ensure he remains a part of the Ohio State community for years to come.
