Scott Laboratory evacuated earlier today

Just another typical day

At approximately 1:30pm the Columbus Fire Department was called to investigate an alarm inside Scott Laboratory.

Students inside were told to evacuate over the loudspeaker and wait outside until the fire department made sure the building was safe for students to re-enter.

After a few minutes the firefighters gave the all clear and students proceeded back into the building and classes returned to normal.

A group of students outside said that there were working on a project, but had to drop everything and leave once the announcement was made.

Furthermore, these students said that this is not unusual at Scott Laboratory and that something like this has happened before.
