The most cringeworthy things OSU students have seen on TimeHop

The app exposes the worst versions of ourselves

It seems impossible these days to look at your TimeHop without groaning.

Whether we’re seeing an old, dramatic and obnoxious Facebook post, tweet, or a picture with our friends that’s overly edited with cheesy song lyrics, the past is not always pleasant.

Luckily, the once popular photo editing site, “Picnik”, no longer exists and most of us have managed to mature since our middle school days, but, for as long as TimeHop exists, we will be reminded of these not-so-proud moments.

In order to get a better look at some of these embarrassing moments, I went out around campus and asked students about the most cringe-worthy things to appear on their own TimeHops.

Next time you check out your TimeHop and question your five-years-ago sanity, remember to ask yourself whether you’ll feel this way when looking back at what you’ve posted today in five years or so.

In the meantime, happy Facebook-ing, Instagram-ing, tweeting, etc.
