ND hockey leaving Hockey East conference for Big Ten

As long as we can keep our gold Zambonis

Notre Dame Men’s hockey announced yesterday that in 2017 they will become the seventh men’s hockey team in the Big Ten conference, leaving behind Hockey East.

Hockey only recently became an official Big Ten sport a few years ago in 2013.

Our new opponents will include Minnesota, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin, adding fuel to some already heated rivalries.

This is just another way to prove ourselves as the best in the Midwest.
