North Carolina’s own Parmalee to play Packapalooza 2018

Grab your cowboy boots and one of those pineapple drinks

After a few years of hip hop, R&B and pop artists being the focus of our musical events at NC State, we finally have a country group coming to the stage on Hillsborough Street.

Parmalee is made up of four Carolina boys from Parmele, N.C. We are so excited to have them playing a home state show for us. You might recognize their most popular song to date, conveniently titled "Carolina."

The yearly festival of fun will go from 2-10p.m. on August 25, finishing off our Wolfpack Welcome Week. The concert will cap off the night along with our annual fireworks show by the Belltower.

Who’s ready for Packapalooza? Fortunately, you don’t have to wait long because Wolfpack Welcome Week is only a month away! This week is full of events that all students can and should attend! Pack Parents, encourage your student to download the “2018 Wolfpack Welcome Week” guide on the NC State Guides app so they don’t miss any events ? #PackParents #Packapalooza #NCStateWWW
